POSITION:    CLASSIFIED SUBSTITUTE (Maintenance/Grounds)

 

LOCATION:  ELLENSBURG SCHOOL DISTRICT

 

Under the general supervision of the Maintenance/Custodial Director; this position requires manual work relating to maintaining the school district’s facilities and grounds. This position requires knowledge and skills in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and grounds care. Performs a variety of skilled task to create and maintain a safe and comfortable environment for students, staff, parents and the general public.  Must have the ability to be flexible to changing job situations in a cooperative manner.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. High School Diploma or GED
2. Physical ability to perform strenuous inside and outside work in all weather conditions.
3. Experience and ability to work cooperatively with district staff and students.
4. Willinness to learn
5. An OSPI successful background check through the FBI and WSP within the past two years.
